Naj's all-time favourite book quotes

"The problem with people is they forget that most of the time it’s the small things that count. Everyone’s so busy waiting in the Waiting Place."— Jennifer Niven

Words of wisdom

"A 22-year-old who's obsessed with books. She reads, A LOT, watch movies and tv, and oh she blogs too. Sorry for the hiccups here and there. Hope there are enough bubbles to make it up. "

So, it's Ramadhan

Assalamualaikum wbt.

So, it is Ramadhan already. Alhadulillah we have given the chance to breathe in this world again, to live the 1st day of Ramadhan. And hope to live it until the end, insyaALLAH.

What's good about Ramadhan?

  • Shaytans are all jailed
  • All the doors of Jannah are wide open
  • We get to pray Tarawih together
  • Fasting can heal some sickness
  • Lailatul Qadr
  • Many more I can't think of right now haha

So since we are now in the holy month of Ramadhan, which also known as 'The Festival of Worship' or 'Pesta Ibadah', take this opportunity to improve yourself in every way you can. Improve in being a better person. Sometimes I think that one good thing about Ramadhan is that, I see people change. I see those who didn't cover their aurah, they covered. For those who smoke, they stop smoking. For those who never been to a masjid before, they went there to pray tarawih. Isn't that a good thing? Maybe they didn't stay istiqomah, but that's okay, it's a beginning, they'll be there insya Allah.

Besides, Allah will always be there to forgive you. Don't worry. Even though you've done the stupidest thing ever, and no one wants you to be their friend of whatever, it's okay. Allah will always be there to hear your whines, groans and moans. And when the time is right, He'll make it better. Just trust HIM.

I once read a quote "Allah is never early, never late. Be patient, all it takes it just a little faith." . Tbh, this quote really changed me. We as human beings, never wanna wait for anything. When we're sick, we pray to God to heal this sickness, but then, it doesn't heal. So, people started to think negative of God. This is a really bad habit; and also a dangerous one. It can lead all of us to syirik. And syirik means, all of our good deeds that have been noted down on our account will all be vanished. And finally, MURTAD.
Nau'zubillah. Nau'zubillah. Nau'zubillah.

Try to be grateful for what we have. When we think we're powerful that everyone else, rethink. Allah is the Most Powerful and He is the one who gave that power to you. He can take it back anytime, anywhere, anyhow and anyway He wants. And that's it.

So make use this Ramadhan for doing ibadah and good deeds. Insya ALLAH, Allah will reward you with a lot of good rewards and pahala. Get rid of bad things as far as possible and lower your gaze. Don't do anything that can urge your lust or nafsu. Again, TRY TO DO GOOD THINGS and GET RID AS MUCH BAD THINGS AS POSSIBLE.

May ALLAH bless all of us with his Rahmat and Hidayah. Amin xx

P/S: And my ustazah told me to finish up the Quran by the end of this month. So try to read more Quran. Read 1-2 juzuks a day or more the better. But if you don't want to it's okay. At least you read half a page or an ayat is also worth it. And don't you just read in Ramadhan only, try to make it as a habit to read more Quran on other months too! So, enjoy this video of Aiman Azlan about reading the Quran in Ramadhan . Enjoy xx

Wallahua'lam :)
Jannah is our forever and final desnation insyaALLAH.
